Description: Inspired by the ๐๐ก๐๐๐ง ๐ฉ๐ช๐ง๐ฆ๐ช๐ค๐๐จ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐๐ง๐จ and ๐จ๐๐ฃ๐๐ฎ ๐จ๐๐ ๐จ๐๐ค๐ง๐๐จ, this painting aims to abstractly portray oceanic hues and the network of intersecting meridian and parallel lines on a map grid. The goal of this painting is to transport the viewer back to a time and place where they may have been travelling somewhere in the world, perhaps on an adventure whilst by the sea, Or to manifest a feeling of the desire to travel again to seek adventure, to ๐๐ญ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐จ๐ค๐ข๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐ฌ, and heal alongside the magical sea shores.
The calculated intersecting meridian and parallel lines aim to portray varying geographical distances across the globe. Parallel lines are the imaginary lines that run from east to west connecting all locations on a map. Meridians or longitudes are also imaginary lines on the Earthโs surface that run up and down from the two poles. The solid bold and bright tropical geometric hues aim to emulate the different colours that one may see when by the sea shore. The base colour โOcean Breezeโ was chosen to emulate the perfect sunset ocean wave hues that glisten alongside the sun-kissed sandy shores, which is portrayed using light "Coral Pinkโ.
